Steps to selling condo

- contact mortgage agents
- "What type of assistance can you give me in marketing my condo?"
- "Will you pre-qualify any buyers that I send your direction?"
- "Will you make a commitment not to refer buyers that I send your direction to a real estate agent unless I give you my permission to do so?" (You don't want an agent getting them interested in another home until you are sure they won't buy yours.)
- "Do you match other lender's rates and closing costs?"
- "Will you be available to pre-qualify buyers at an Open House, if I have one?"
- "What days of the week are you available?"
- get quotes for a voicemail & fax back line
- work through steps for pricing real estate in Life Maps book
List the things that most attracted you to this home when you purchased it.
- quiet location at back of complex
- convenient to downtown
- covered parking
Now list the items that you added to the home. What improvements have you made?
- gates added to complex
- recent carpet
What features are there that a buyer may miss? New plumbing? New water heater? List everything you can think of:
- walking distance to South Congress shopping
- near bus routes
- on-site pool
- skylight in bathroom

Have your spouse or close friend list what they feel are the 5 most appealing things about your home?
