Here are some ice cream flavors I would like to make:
- hot chocolate?
- Earl Grey
- banana pudding (using vanilla waffers and marshmallow fluff)
- Belgian chocolate (like Amy's)
- brownie dough
- birthday cake (and add mashmallow topping as a "crushin'")
- butter pecan
- cheesecake
- chocolate (with carmel & marshmellow ribbon)
- chocolate chip
- chocolate peanut butter
- crunch bar
- dr. pepper
- kit kat bar
- lemon
- macadamia nut
- malt
- mango
- mint
- nutella
- peach
- pistachio
- snickers bar
- tiramisu
- chai
- try ricotta cheese and/or tofu instead of some milk products
- malted milk ball topping
- ice cream sandwiches
Previous attempts:
- rasberry (4*): excellent flavor
- strawberry (3*): use the ripest strawberries possible
- blackberry (3*): use a foodmill or blender to avoid seeds
- dulce de leche (5*): add half of the dulce de leche at the last minute to ge globs in the mix
- pear frozen yogurt (4*): excellent flavor; freezes hard
- french vanilla (5*): excellent flavor; very easy to make
- ginger (3.5*): not my favorite, but ginger lovers loved it
- cinnamon (4*): 2 tsp. cinnamon
Tips:
- avoid skim milk (it seems to get harder/iceier in freezer)
- use 1/2 half-and-half 1/2 milk
- use pasteurized egg substitute, instead of raw egg
