I've always been fascinated by memory techniques, ever since I saw a brief demonstration of mnemonics on Nova as a kid. I read a few books in high school by Harry Lorayne and others and have used the techniques on and off.

Just recently, I listened to a copy of Quantum Memory Power by Dominic O'Brien. It has renewed my interest in mnemonics. One of the techniques mentioned is the Dominic System for remembering numbers. The system associates numbers with letters, which can then correspond to famous or otherwise memorable names, making them easier to remember. An action and object can also be associated with each person, making the system even more flexible.

I have been working on coming up with my own "cast of characters" for the system. Below is my list, so far. Please feel free to edit this page directly or to contact me, if you have any additions.
