Samba/SMB over SSH

Due to some new firewall rules, we were recently cut off from our staging server at work. Fortunately, I had recently run across the following page on tunneling Samba over SSH:

Samba/SMB over SSH without disabling local file sharing

It turned out to be just what we needed, to get some work done until the firewall issues could be looked into.

MacWorld Review

I noticed tonight that my review of InterComm 1.3 for the MacWorld website was apparenly posted just recently. I’m very happy to see it published, as a lot of work went into those ~500 words.
